Com uma história que se passa antes do primeiro game, vemos Kratos e seu exército em Ática enfrentando os persas, já sob o comando dos Deuses do Olimpo. Depois de derrotar os invasores humanos, ele parte atrás de Morfeu, pois o Deus do sono derrubou o Sol e mergulhou o mundo em desenvolvedora fez um ótimo trabalho adaptando os comandos de batalha para o portátil da Sony, gerando uma boa experiência para quem jogou, mas que precisou de melhorias para os jogos seguintes e no remaster de PlayStation 3. Como é impossível agradar gregos e romanos, este é considerado, por muitos, um dos piores God of War, mas por ser um pioneiro, vamos apenas dizer que não é dos melhores God Of War Betrayal 2007O primeiro e único jogo da série fora dos consoles PlayStation tinha um charmoso visual 2D e de 16-bit, mas repleto de sangue pixelado. Com ações muito similares ao videogame até quick time event, as ações de apertar botões que aparecem na tela mas com um teor mais de plataforma, o game era muito divertido lembro de gastar várias horas nele no meu Nokia C3 e tinha as criaturas mitológicas e outros soldados como história é bem simples e faz parte do universo, ainda que não tão importante na trama geral. Kratos está liderando o Exército de Esparta contra as demais cidades gregas, o que irritou os deuses. Isso levou a deusa Hera a mandar o monstro Argos para impedi-lo. Porém, um ser misterioso mata a criatura antes do general, levando a uma caça intensa atrás God of War Ascension 2013Pensando pela ordem cronológica, este é o primeiro jogo em que conhecemos alguns dos muitos fantasmas do passado do espartano. God of War 2018 Após cinco anos do último lançamento da franquia, o novo God of War chegou ao PS4 em 2018 para dar novos ares à saga. Agora, Kratos deixa a mitologia grega após destruir tudo e todos e se muda para a Escandinávia, mergulhando fundo em tudo que a mitologia nórdica pode oferecer. O que também mudou drasticamente, foi a maneira com que Kratos lida com pessoas e problemas, tendo em vista que ele deixa toda a ira que o consumia de lado e passa a ter um comportamento mais calmo devido ao seu cansaço. Agora, ele possui um filho chamado Atreus, que o auxiliará em sua jornada para levar as cinzas de sua falecida mulher ao topo da montanha mais alta de Jotunheim. God of War Ragnarök 2022 God of War Ragnarök é o mais novo lançamento da franquia e dá seguimento a história de Kratos e Atreus pela mitologia nórdica. O jogo se passa três anos após os eventos do título anterior e nos é apresentado o Fimbulwinter, o inverno nórdico, evento que precede o Ragnarök. Agora, pai e filho continuarão lutando juntos contra seres e deuses nórdicos como Thor e Odin para se manterem vivos.
